For these works, a traditional Japanese swirl motif is used extensively and laid out overall, and I have created each piece by combining two basic patterns; traditional swirls spreading out largeand small, with an abstract motif that has been developed from a lotus flower. By combining these two motifs, I create dynamic and the fluid designs.
